The best website I have found for Comprehension Strategies! This site discusses all the new TEKS from Figure 19. There are discussion groups on both Mosaic of Thought by Keene and Zimmerman and Reading with Meaning by Debbie Miller. Both books are must reads for any reading teacher especially in light of the new comprehension TEKS which have been incorporated.

I began to look into the website and found that it is a very good resource indeed. I found some great powerpoint presentations that I will be able to upload to my wiki. Thank you! This way, I'll be able to share these resources with other teachers who will benefit from them.
As I was looking around for technology integration into the language arts classroom, I stumbled upon this website which gives several examples of how to engage students with technology while they complete their Language Arts assignments. I thought they were good ideas! Check it out...

Thank you for the great website Lisa. My favorite were the reading posters they provide. I can see how these can serve as anchor charts around the classroom to remind students about various reading strategies.I will print them out and share them with my teachers.
I think that this website will prove to be very helpful next school year. I will be teaching a TAKS level and comprehension is always a biggie. Thanks
